Some pieces are handpicked especially for you. Others are thoughtfully crafted by our skilled karigars.
A little bit of discovery, a little bit of craftsmanship. That is the whole idea, and everything here comes from one side of it or the other.
What the two have in common is that somebody had to decide. A piece is either worth finding or worth making, and if it is neither it does not reach you.
01 · Discovery
Choosing is its own kind of work. A piece earns its place by the cut of a shoulder, the fall of a hem, the weight of the cloth in the hand.
Nothing is bought by the rack, and nothing is here to fill a gap. When a style comes in four colours it is because all four were worth having, not because four looked better than one.
02 · Craftsmanship
The rest is made for us. Our karigars work the ornament by hand: crystal and bead across a shoulder, a rose spray set at the chest, sculpted gold down a placket, studs scattered over a knit.
Hand work does not repeat exactly. Two pieces of the same style differ a little from each other, and that is the reason to have a thing made rather than printed.

Every garment on this site is photographed on its own, against nothing, so what you are looking at is the piece and not the styling around it. That studio photograph is always first on a product page.
The photographs of models, and the films, are digitally generated. We say so in the footer of every page and wherever they appear. They are there to show how a piece is worn and how the cloth moves. They are not photographs of the garment, and the studio shot is.
